My Bio

Posted - June  2005

I wanted to be a commercial pilot, but just before graduation I learned that I couldn't because of green-red color blindness, which left me lost in life. So I sat around for a year doing nothing. Then I attended De Anza off and on, eventually majoring in History, while working as a graphic photographer in a print shop, doing microchip circuit board work. I came to hate it. At De Anza I met a hot red head who became the love of my life. We had a 5 year relationship. When it ended, I quit my job and moved to Boulder Creek, enrolled at Cabrillo in Soquel, where I went off and on, and became a roadie for a country rock band. The whole road crew lived at my cabin, that was co-owned and shared by my younger brother Russ. What a time we had! The band was about to be signed, but broke up. So, I roadied for another group. They eventually broke up and I landed a "Go For"- intern position at KSJO FM 92, one of the leading hard rock stations at the time. Another blast! At 30 I got serious, and learned to drive big rig trucks. But suddenly my health failed. I developed Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, or Environmental Illness, and became a basket case. I moved to the Mojave Desert for my health and live on SSI. I never married, had kids, or got a degree. But the trip was a major blast! I wonder what's next?!
