After graduating from Holy Names College in Oakland I went on to a successful career in Marketing/Administration and Human Resources. Left the corporate world to purchase a cafe, added a bakery to the cafe and owned it for 9 years. Took a break for a while now I work "very part-time" for a financial planning firm about 1 mile from my home. I am married and raised a stepson, of whom I am extremely proud and grateful to have had in my life. My husband and I live in Orinda which is a little town in the hills just east of Berkeley. We have a fairly simple life. I love to garden and am fortunate to have a large piece of property where I can pursue my passion. I have kept in close touch with George Vuckan and his wife Norma. They recently moved to an "adult community" in Santa Clara. George is as feisty as ever, but getting on in age (86 this year).
