I was married in December of 1971 to my wonderful husband, Dick, who is a high school teacher and coach. In 1979, Dick received a job offer to teach in Placerville. Everything fell into place within a week and we feel so blessed to have this opportunity to live and raise our girls in such a beautiful area. We have two daughters, the oldest, Jaimee is 28 and married. She has given us our first beautiful granddaughter, Emilee 2-1/2. Never realized being a grandmother would be this great. Our youngest, Missy is 23, single as of today, and hopefully in her last year at Sacramento State. Out of high school I attended DeAnza for a short time, then went to work in the accounting field for an electronics firm in Mt. View, then at San Jose C.C. District. Since arriving in Placerville, 26 years ago, I have worked full time as the Office Manager for Kensco Supply a plumbing and electrical store. Hopefully, we both will be able to retire in five years. We enjoy playing golf, camping, relaxing on Oahu's North Shore and spending time with our family and friends.
