Hi everyone....I retired in year 2002, after 26 years in law enforcement,and have returned to school as a graduate student at San Jose State University, School of Education. I am pursuing my teaching credential and hope to start a second career as a school teacher. I have been a high school baseball coach for over 20 years (last gig was Sacred Heart College Prep in Atherton, 2004). I took this year off to be caregiver for my invalid father (88 yrs. old, two strokes). I have a 23 year-old son in graduate school at University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana. I also have two little girls, ages six and four. So if I make it to their high school graduations, I will have been a daddy for 38 years, non-stop. Lucky for me, my health is good, though my wallet is getting thinner.
