I attended Morse, Madrone, and then Sunnyvale High (class of 70). I left midway through my junior year when we moved across town. I was active in speech and debate and took state championships in three events and was a national finalist in two. Thanks to this, I got a scholarship to a University in the midwest, but not liking the snow, returned to the Bay Area and graduated from UC. I have had an interesting career that is evolving still. I worked in nonprofit after college, then in downtown SF for 10 years in Fortune 50 companies, ultimately in an executive capacity. I started a consulting business after that, which gave me a chance to work on interesting assignments in a number of high profile tech firms. I am married with one child. We have taken some fun sabatticals together and lived abroad. I am now writing literary fiction and may someday see something in print.
