The last 35 years have gone by so quickly; it seems like just yesterday we were all so very young, with our entire life ahead of us. During this time I have stayed in the Sunnyvale area, other than a short time I moved to Tucson, Arizona. It turned out to be a great place to live, but not so great to work! I packed up and moved back to California. A dear friend contracted
Hodgkin's Disease and I felt helpless, and wanted to do something that might help to make a difference. I became involved with the American Cancer Society and for three years was a committee member for the Daffodil Day's Campaign. The time spent was very rewarding and gratifying to know you can make a
difference. About ten years ago I bought my home in Santa Clara, went back to school at USF and obtained my degree. This past year I remodeled the kitchen and family room. What an experience. Now I am just enjoying it. I have been fortunate to have had opportunities to travel to wonderful places in Europe like Rome, Athens, and London, then onto Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok all of which was for fun and to visit friends. After spending thirty two years "growing up" in the high tech industry of Silicon Valley, I am trying to determine what I would like to do, where I want to live once leaving the hectic work environment. Lots of possibilities, only time will tell.
